Interviewed Mar 2010 (took 2 weeks)
Contacted initially by corporate recruiter for a 30 min interview which went well. Then interviewed with the senior leadership team. They were very engaging and eager to explain the benefits of working for the organization. The next interview occured with the CEO of the hospital. She basically spoke of the organization and the challenges they experienced at the hospital. The next interview was with a regional leader who was interested in learning of my background.

Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed May 2011 in Sandy, UT (took 3 days)
This was the absolute worst interview I have ever been on, which inevitably led me to decline the job offer. It was just under an hour long and every question was a situational question "Tell me about a time when..." and they all seemed the same. All the questions were about conflict with Doctors, or other Nurses, etc. and how I handled it....I swear I had to think of about 7 different situations with conflict and my previous job was wonderful without much conflict. I was making stuff up by the end of it...It was the most painful interview I have ever been on. At one point I actually looked at my watch and was about to just apoligize and excuse myself from the interview. I figure, if I was asked so many questions about conflict (this is a regular RN role, not a supervisory position) than I can expect a lot of conflict in the position offered. I wasn't asked one question "tell me about yourself" or anything positive about what I have to offer- just right from the start, 15 situational questions. The whole interview had a very negative tone, and I wasn't a fan of that. To be fair, they did warn me that it was a long process, sent to them from corporate offices. But, that doesn't mean they couldn;t have added a few warm-up questions to make the tone a little nicer and friendlier. Also, the Director of Nursing was wearing pink scrubs...I am not a fan of a DON wearing casual scrubs...makes me think they are super short-staffed.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in Las Vegas, NV (took 2 weeks)
The HR head, Tovah D'Ambrosio left multiple messages, then didn't respond back for days, then asked random questions about logistics by phone. Then she asked if she could call back later and never did. Weeks later I received a generated email from her saying she had filled the position but would keep my resume on file. She does her job very very poorly.

Interviewed Oct 2008 (took a day)
I was asked to interview for this job after having worked in the position in the past. They supervisor requested I come in for an interview. After speaking to her on the phone, I went the next day for the interview. She asked me questions and made an offer. The people there are some-what snotty and you almost need to know someone to get a job at this site.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I declined this offer due to the small amount I was paid in relation to the others in my office. Although they had been at the facility longer than I had, I was in the postion longer than they were. Some were paid twice as much as I was, but I ended up doing their jobs due to their lack of experience and computer knowledge. I was refused a higher salary, although they received bonuses for the first time when I had worked there before. There is almost no need to negotiate. They would rather high people that are inexperienced and cannot get the job done, than hire someone whom knows the job for a slightly larger fee.
