Interviewed Oct 2011 in Austin, TX (took 3 weeks)
I received a call from a recruiter. I was willing to listen to the current business plans and accepted the next 1:1 interview with the hiring manager. That was a 30 min call. After that, I was brought onsite for 3 1:1 interviews from the team that I would be working with in Austin. After 2 days, they called back and offered me the position. We went back and forth for a week through negotiations and I accepted their final offer.
Negotiation Details
I negotiated salary, starting bonus, working offsite, and a few small perks. Overall, if they want to bring you onboard, they will do what they can to make sure you accept the position.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Austin, TX (took 3 weeks)
I applied throughout the HP career site. About a month later the hiring manager emailed me to setup a time for a phone interview. However I ended up having a phone interview with his lead java engineer. The phone interview was quite easy and quick. Then I was invited for an in person interview next week. This interview lasted about 3 hours. For each hour I interviewed with two different people, which makes 6 people in total. I was not given an offer but the lead engineer offered me his recommendation for other HP positions. All of the interviewers were very kind and friendly. The technical questions require some preparation if your knowledge is not fresh enough.

Interviewed Nov 2009 in Austin, TX (took 2 weeks)
Applied online through college career site. Had a phone interview about a week later with one of the managers. It was mostly behavioral, but some technical questions. I was invited to another phone interview with the actual hiring manager for the position soon after. HP's interview process is kind of strange because you have a phone interview with someone, and then if they like you, they tell you to apply to the Req's you like online... and that they'll be your "representative" and go talk to the actual hiring manager for you. Anyway, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, it was half technical and half behavioral. I received an offer without visiting the office onsite.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Austin, TX (took a day)
Invited for interview on campus. Was asked about the stock price of HP on the day. Then was asked abuot my background. I had already worked at Tandem in the past so that experience helped. They were eager to have me over and left the choice to me on whatever I wanted to do at HP (kinda sounded weird, but THAT was the offer). I wanted to pursue a career in marketing product management
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The salary was not comparable or competitive at all. I have tremendous experience, but they wanted to treat me as a fresh MBA graduate. I was not ready for that.
Other Details
I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test, a Skills Test, a Personality Test and a Background Check.
