Internal interview with boss who I expressed an interest in creating the job position for the group. She listened to what I said then asked several peers of higher job level if I was capable. However, it took her 2 - 3 months to come back to me with the proposal.
Negotiation Details
Tried to negotiate a job movement up. Instead, I got a lateral movement. No, salary increase either. I suggest that it is discussed at the first time to set the expectations.

I was disappointed with the interviewer. The call came in from Mexico and I could barely understand the lady. The interview questions were about Java and they were only definition questions. If you are about to apply, brush up on basic Java definitions.

The hiring manager was located in London, so it was a bit difficult to schedule time between us. Very pleasant man and enjoyed getting to know him. The position was not well defined as the products were not all in place at that point.

They had three 1 on 1 interviews, two of the employees were managers within the department, and one was a recruiter and former manager. Each was 45 minutes long and they were 15 minutes apart. The questions varied, but most of it was based on my previous work experience and then your typical behavioral interview questions, "Tell me about a time...".

Took longer due to the holiday break. Staff was diligent in contacting me and keeping me informed of next steps. I had two phone interviews and 2 face to face interviews in Plano. Everyone was friendly and offered lots of information on the position.
