The process took a dayinterviewed at Hewlett-Packard in October 2009.

Interview Details

It was a regular interview process.

First round was conducted by MeriTrac Consultancy. It had sections on Aptitude, DI etc.

Second was 1:1 interview.

They asked about OS concepts like Memory management (Virtual memory) etc
Then they concentrated on my resumes and mainly asked from my projects.

It was a easy experience only.

    had a phone call from the recruiter. Next day i was interviewed by the manager. No technical questions asked the next day i was accepted. However waited 2 mths before accpetance letter came through

    After posting my resume, Just phone interview happened to me a few times. We talked about my experiences and skill sets as well as job responsibility and qualification. I feel that it is pretty matching. But no result. Sometimes, when asking salary offer, they did not like to answer.

    it was easy and casual. The interview was a short phone interview and the interviewer was very helpful and accommodating. My offer came quick through email and mail and I accepted. They gave a relocation bonus which was really nice but I would have rather had them give housing for interns.

    Interview Details

    Hiring mgr wasn't the decision maker and I had to interview with 5 other people and they could care less about spending any time interviewing, I felt like I was interrupting their day. The questions asked had little to do with the area of work and one of the mgrs was extremely arrogant. Overall, not a positive experience. I intentionally did not follow up.

    I got through the campus placement, so it was fairly easy for me to crack. I had a good academic record in college, and that helped a lot. Even though there was a lot of competitio from my peers. But it was a good experience.
