Interview Details –
HR person called and scheduled face to face interview in a week's time.Two rounds of technical interview.
The first interviewer was very fast and asked some good questions. The questions were related to core java - serialization, behaviour of Singleton in multiple jvms, extending the default behavior of struts config, SQL query to get mth and nth highest salary,etc.
Also there was one question on data structures, like how do you implement a book index(the indexes which appear on the back of a book)
The second round was also a good round. Asked about how webservices work and how is the WSDL defined and Jax-WS architecture.
Then couple of design questions related to load balancing of servers and controlled usage of different nodes like when there are total three nodes available and only one should be running at a time.
Asked to draw UML diagrams for inheritence and aggregation.
Interview Question – Write an asynchronous method call in java. Answer Question
Other Details - I applied through an employee referral and the process took 1 week.
