I applied online and the process took 2 weeks - interviewed at Hewlett-Packard in May 2010.
Interview Details – Applied on HP web site. Was phone-screened by technical recruiter. This included verification of technical background and experience that matched the posting requirements. I then had phone interview with Solution Architect and Technical Lead. Received offer based on phone interviews. My first day was scheduled without me meeting anyone in person. I requested an in-person meeting with my future manager; otherwise, I would have been hired sight-unseen.
Interview Question – This was for a senior .NET developer position so there were a lot of technical questions requiring .NET knowledge. I was also asked about sizes of projects that I had worked on (this was a large project with 50+ developers) and what roles I had filled. Answer Question
