A few technical questions... Testing methodologies. Software design methods. Favorite programming language. Took a few days for them to send out the official offer letter. Offer was competitive. Did include a high salary, signing bonus, full relocation. A few technical questions... Testing methodologies. Software design methods. Favorite programming language. Interviewed Nov 2009 in Austin, TX (took 2 weeks)
Applied online through college career site. Had a phone interview about a week later with one of the managers. It was mostly behavioral, but some technical questions. I was invited to another phone interview with the actual hiring manager for the position soon after. HP's interview process is kind of strange because you have a phone interview with someone, and then if they like you, they tell you to apply to the Req's you like online... and that they'll be your "representative" and go talk to the actual hiring manager for you. Anyway, I had a phone interview with the hiring manager, it was half technical and half behavioral. I received an offer without visiting the office onsite.

I met with HP at the career fair. The interview consisted of mostly technical questions from a computer science and computer engineering standpoint. I suggest reviewing some programming in C and also simple state machines and digital logic questions.

Interviewed May 2007 in Fort Collins, CO (took 1+ week)
The interview is for a software development position in the storage business. It consists two one on one interview with your future managers and 3 technical interviews, each with two of your future colleagues. The interviews have a lot of technical questions as well as personality questions. Kind of makes you feel how serious they took it. I did get the offer in the end but it was the most official interview process i have gone thru.
