Interviewed Dec 2011 (took a day)
Applicant was required to submit on-application and follow-up appointment for interview was made. Applicant was interviewed by competent interviewer who was knowledgeable about posted position.
Interview location could have been in a more private area rather than a common office.
When applying for a job opening at a specific Home Depot a follow-up cover letter addressed to the store manager is advisable. Applicant should prepare for interview by learning what the position requires and apply with a fairly non-restrictive work availability.

Interviewed Oct 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 1 week)
I had two-phone interview before being asked to come into for 1:1 interviews with three different individuals.
I was told by HR to look for an email with directions, and an agenda. Never got it, they sent it to the wrong person.
They hired from inside, which I think they knew they were going to do all along. Big waste of my time !

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
Contacted by a recruiter who found my resume on LinkedIn. After two interviews about two different positions, I was brought in for one-on-one interviews for a Content Strategist role. My skill set was too broad and creative for the position I was interviewing for.

Interviewed Nov 2011 in Atlanta, GA (took 3 weeks)
Initial phone interview took place at the end of October, I was scheduled to meet wtih five separate individuals at corporate HQ in Atlanta on November 11th. Due to scheduling conflict only met with 2 of the individuals. I was rescheduled to meet with the individuals who had cancel & once again I was told one of the hiring managers would not be available. I was told after the interviews they would be in touch. Two weeks later after not hearing anything, I sent an email & rec'vd reply they would contact me within the next 2-3 days. When I still did not hear anything I called & left a message. On the following day I received a call from the recruiting coordinator telling me they decided to pursue another candidate & would keep me in mind for other opportunities.
