Interview

It was a quick process! I submitted and interview on a Sunday night was called by Monday, interview Wednesday orientation on Friday and Had my first shift Saturday! It was an easy interview and I was offered a job on the spot.

    They offered me eight dollars an hour, no benefits, no guarantee of hours, no compensation for gas/travel, no PTO, and also wanted me to do 2 hours of training unpaid. I asked if I got my CNA what I would be paid, and they would increase my hourly wages to 9 an hour.

    incompetent and ask questions that are against BC labor laws, use online process to discourage any one who is qualified in the field and can work elsewhere. On line interview was more like psychological profiling, telephone interview repetitive and superficial- wondered are they checking to see if I am a foreign worker desperate for a job

    realized that this job exploits seniors and would exploit workers they also try to get workers from foreign countries to take these jobs-they won't complain -they just want to live in BC

    I spoke with someone on the phone and they directed me to the website to apply online and filled out the application and went to the office for a face to face interview. They checked references and background check and I was hired and had a drug test and started working shortly after my orientation
