Interviewed Dec 2010 (took 4 weeks)
Got an email from the hiring manager requesting an initial screening interview. He described the role in more detail then simply said, "Tell me about yourself". After I was done with my tap dance, He thanked me and that was all. A week later I was contacted for a second interview, this time with a panel of people where they asked many behavioral type questions "describe a situation where you had to use power; describe a situation where you needed help and how you went about getting it, etc". At the end of the call I had the sense that things were going well. This time they were more open about how I was doing during the interview and made some encouraging remarks. A third interview was scheduled with another panel. This time much less formal and seemed more focused on reaching consensus about my candidacy.
I was finally placed in touch with the HR person that was to handle my "case". This is where the process broke down in my opinion. She seemed to have her own take on the role and was hurried and spent a limited amount of time talking to me about what I think is the all important part of the process. Her handling of the discussions surrounding salary and other issues left much to be desired. She did not sell the company well and had a dry approach in her dealings with me. It totally turned me off and left me wondering how much I would have to deal with her if I were to take the job.
The entire process took about a month and it was very nice and pleasant all the way through. Everyone was perfectly nice and made me feel at ease at all times. I had a good sense about the people and it was unfortunate that the HR person did not fit the mold. Our discussions fell flat from that point on. Had their HR been on the same vibe as the rest of the team it could have been a completely different result.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Phoenix, AZ (took a day)
I found the job posting on the web. The interview was a one:one interview with the hiring manager. It was a typical interview. My advice for applicants to this company is that a technical background in the field is a preferred asset.

Interviewed Mar 2008 (took 4+ weeks)
Honeywell Aerospace is ponderous in its interview process. Every i must be dotted and every t crossed before the next step can be taken. They are more concerned about your personality and whether you will cause any problems then how skilled you are or how much experience you have. It is important to emphasize how focused you will be on the job and how you're willing to go the extra mile for the job (not that you will actually need to spend more than 40 hours a week there).

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Phoenix, AZ (took 3 weeks)
Introduction to company was via personal introduction by a high-level employee. First meeting was informational with executive level. Second meeting was an interview with the hiring manager for the position. Third meeting was 2 person panel interview. Know the company, the business and the work environment. Honeywell has excellent employees, so hiring from within is the norm.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Phoenix, AZ (took 4 weeks)
After applying for the position on-line, I received a phone call from their corporate recruiter for a phone screen. He asked me a few questions regarding my resume and detailed the job a little further before determining that he would schedule an interview in Phoenix with me. I had to wait a few weeks before he came to Phoenix for the first interview, then after a successful first interview they flew me to Dallas to interview with the Corporate office. Once that was successful, I did my third round of interviews in the Phoenix office where I would be working and immediately received a job offer within 24 hours after the interview in Phoenix.
