Interviewed Jan 2011 in Phoenix, AZ (took 4 weeks)
I was initially contacted by an agency who connected me with Honeywell. The position did not include relocation and I was very clear and up front with the agency about not being interested in the job unless Honeywell was going to put up some relocation. The agency person followed up with me and said he talked to Honeywell and they still wanted to talk to be and would see what they could do about relocation. Talked to the recruiter all through Email which was my choice due to my current work load to set up the phone interview. The recruiter did attempt to call and was very resposive to my email's got back to me within 24hrs and gave me a list of day and times for the phone interview which was very accomodating. In my email's I again let hte recruiter know that relocation would be necessary and she told me the manager would still like to talk to me. I had a phone interveiw with the manger. It was extremely basic, tell me about your career history. I was embarassed for the HR Director, this was not a very professional phone interview and he really didn't seem interested. At the end of the interview he said I understand you need relocation and the job doesn't have relocation. This is just not professional and wasted my time. #1 I was not looking they reached out to me. #2 I told them 3 times and used the words I don't want to waste your time because I am not interested if you are not willing to relocate. #3 Three weeks after a phone screen is too long to follow-up with someone. Honeywell is a billion dollar company and the fact it was more important to save $120,000 on a full relocation package shows that they are really not interested in having the best talent or they have serious budget issues. I find all this disturbing for a company that is trying to be an industry leader. I would suggest people do a lot of research and talk to someone on the inside before interviewing or going to Honeywell. They did how erver give me a ball park salary range of $120,000 to $150,000. I hop this helps.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Phoenix, AZ (took a day)
I found the job posting on the web. The interview was a one:one interview with the hiring manager. It was a typical interview. My advice for applicants to this company is that a technical background in the field is a preferred asset.

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Phoenix, AZ (took 3 weeks)
Introduction to company was via personal introduction by a high-level employee. First meeting was informational with executive level. Second meeting was an interview with the hiring manager for the position. Third meeting was 2 person panel interview. Know the company, the business and the work environment. Honeywell has excellent employees, so hiring from within is the norm.

Interviewed Jun 2009 in Phoenix, AZ (took 4 weeks)
After applying for the position on-line, I received a phone call from their corporate recruiter for a phone screen. He asked me a few questions regarding my resume and detailed the job a little further before determining that he would schedule an interview in Phoenix with me. I had to wait a few weeks before he came to Phoenix for the first interview, then after a successful first interview they flew me to Dallas to interview with the Corporate office. Once that was successful, I did my third round of interviews in the Phoenix office where I would be working and immediately received a job offer within 24 hours after the interview in Phoenix.

An HR person conducted a behavioral interview. It was very typical.... "Tell me about a time when:
1. You had to convince others (non subordinates) to follow your lead.
2. You had to overcome barriers to accomplish your objective.
etc.

Interviewed Mar 2008 in Phoenix, AZ (took 2 days)
I submitted my resume through my school. I was selected as one of ten people to interview on campus for the positions. I went into the interview thinking the position was in Torrance, CA but by the end of the interview it was clarified it was in Phoenix. I had no intentions of moving out of southern CA, but I completely clicked with the woman interviewing me and she convinced me within the 45 minutes I was being interviewed. She told me she thought I was very well rounded and that's what she was looking for. I was an RA, TA, on a school athletic team, involved in student government, with an okay, but not great GPA. She asked mostly behavioral questions which I responded with life examples. Ultimately, I felt like we were both interviewing eachother. I was the only one to be offered a job from that day of interviews.
