I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Houston Grand Opera (Houston, TX) in May 2023
Phase one was a phone interview with HR, Phase Two was an in-person group interview with 5 team members. I’m not sure if there was a phase three that I just didn’t make it to or not.

The process begins smoothly. First interview is about 15 min. with HR, second interview is with immediate managers, and third is with director. The resume portal is a pain leading to lost emails and lost communication. All things were good up until third round; ended up being completely ghosted.

I interviewed with two women in the marketing department, they were professional and very friendly. The interview itself was easy enough. Here’s the negative : I was told Someone would reach back out to me. Never did. Even after a follow up. It was very unprofessional.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Houston Grand Opera (Houston, TX) in Jun 2019
I had a phone interview then went to an in-person interview. The in-person interview was weird due to some meeting, so I met with the 3 people for 3 separate in-person interviews back to back. The interview seemed fine, was introduced to everyone, and was told they would call me back to let me know if I was accepted or declined. I reached out to various people and never heard a peep. Very unprofessional and really left a sour taste in my mouth over a job I was overqualified for.

Very professional and expeditious process. From the time I was first contacted to the decision date it was more than one working week. Interviewed first over the phone with the Director then set the in person interview for within 3 days. I had interview with the Director again, lasting about an hour and a half. Received notice of final decision within the week.
