I answered: Take the volume of the pool by multiplying the length x width x height. Then take the volume of a golf ball using the diameter. Divide the volume of the pool by the volume of the golf ball. He replied that there were spaces in between the golf ball because it was spherical and asked how I would account for the lost space. I said calculate the volume of the golf ball as a cube using the diameter as the length, width, height. Then divide volume of the pool by the volume of the golf ball as a cube. He seemed unsatisfied. Perhaps a better answer would be measure the L X W X H in golf balls (50 golf balls long ect).
