The prior manager was very well respected and accomplished a lot (before accepting a promotion to another group). I answered that it's a difficult challenge, but one I look forward to tackling. We have an enormous amount of data that is not being used in strategic decision making. Whereas the former manager made good decisions based on experience, I would look to make use of data to identify additional opportunities.
