Tell a life story. Tell the truth but remember the interview is a dance. You'll have to be very keen to pick up on the lead and follow through with what you think they'll want to hear. So bottom line, don't lie but it's ok to imbellish or stress points that reinforce the message you are trying to get across; mainly, that you are the best fit for the job. Don't lie, they may ask you about your story again after you're hired which may lead to a very uncomfortable situation.
