Interviewed Nov 2011 in Denton, TX (took 2 weeks)
Phone interview with corporate recruiter went great. Said she was going to "highly" recommend me to the hiring senior manager. Two weeks went by, no communication. I saw the job posted in career builder again, contacted the recruiter via email (took 2 times for her to respond) she responded by saying she has been trying to contact the hiring manager and they will not respond. She also said, knowing this company, a different manager will be asking about me in a week. I haven't heard back. Don't know if I'd even consider talking to them after the way I was lead on and then intentionally disregarded. If they treat prospective employees like that, I'm sure their company reviews from current employees are dead on.

Interviewed Jun 2010 in Denton, TX (took 2 weeks)
Phone interview was great. Everyone was very professional. Asked basic information about company. How I like to manage. My estimating experience etc.
Second interview was horrible the guy was a jerk. He made the job seem like it was the most difficult and stressful job in the world. I expect it is because he can't handle his position and stresses everyone out. It wasn't much of an interview, but an interrogation. He is going to try and get under your skin to see how you handle yourself. He asks what are you good at what are you not good at... why should I hire you, but don't think your going to get a word in to answer his questions, because he is very opinionated and will try to turn your words around on you. I suggest calling him on it... I laughed in the interview because of how arrogant he is... He did not take this well.
If given the chance to come back for the third interview or given an offer I would turn it down. I suspect you have to be a brown nose to work for him. I work to provide for my family not to worship my employer...if you know what I mean. If you as a manager are stressed all the time your employees are going to be stressed too. Advice to interviewer: treat others how you would like to be treated. Walk with them not 20 ft ahead of them. Make them feel comfortable not miserable. Recognize you are being interviewed too.
...I was very respectful throughout the interview...
