Interviewed Jan 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 3 months)
Received an employee referral, through an informal interview with a director. Had my first phone interview sometime last November, which consisted of a behavioral interview. Then a few weeks later I had a case interview. This was the "ED" case that was mentioned by others. Very easy. I was then contacted and asked to come into their office in Chicago for the final round of interviews. This consisted of a group/panel interview. and then 3, 1:1 45 minute interviews. This final round of interviews began at 7:30 in the morning. All of the interviewers were young, which was nice, yet they all seemed very nonchalant when it came to the interviews, giving off the impression that you already received the job offer and just wanted to be "buddy buddy" with you. I was not given an offer, and amazingly, when I asked for feedback from the recruiter, I was told that I seemed too nervous during the interviews, and I didn't have enough job experience. Makes a lot of sense, why would they drag me this far into the interview process knowing of my job experience. Felt like I got screwed.
Be careful as to say exactly what you think they want to hear, and not what you want to instinctively say.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 4 days)
I interviewed on the phone and they were very interested. From there, I went in to the office and met with the corporate recruiter and three marketing people (1:1). I felt that it went well...two days later I was contacted and told that they were persuing other clients. In addition, I got some interesting feedback. They told me that I presented myself very well and was qualified for the role, however I was too personable and relatable. Makes tons of sense. It's funny how they tell me I seemed casual, yet the interviewers were resting their heads on the table and telling me how tired they were. Everyone seemed very snotty and uptight. No thanks.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 4 weeks)
I got the interview through an employee referral. The interview consisted of one behavioral interview over the phone with an HR representative, one case study over the phone with a managing director, and a day in the office which consisted of a analyst panel and 3 1:1 interviews. Case study was the same as the employee that referred me, a business case about an ED and describing how you would go about assessing the situation to decompress the ED on certain days that it was over capacity and had long wait times. Be sure to freshen up on basic accounting principles as there is an accounts receivable problem that you have to work through in the final round. As others mentioned, all interviewers are typing everything you say while interviewing, which can be distracting.

Interviewed Jan 2012 in Chicago, IL (took 5 months)
Huron Consulting offers demanding and rewarding entry-level positions to college grads. I interviewed through their 3 step interview process in fall of 2011 and it did not result in an offer but I was encouraged to keep in contact. After an email here and there throughout 2012, I was referred again. Definitely a company where you need to know the rules of the game for interviewing with them - but if you know what they're looking for and hit the points you need to reach, I think it's a fair and accessible interview system. Unfortunately, if you make a mistep there aren't many second opportunities.

Interviewed Dec 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 2 weeks)
I started with a basic screening in which the recruiter gathered my information. About two weeks later I had my first behavioral interview. This interview consisted of two behavioral questions pertaining to how adjusted to difficult situations and turned them into positives. I passed and was scheduled to do my case interview over the phone because I wasn't local. My case question dealt with making an emergency room run more smoothly. I screwed up by skipping ahead to solutions rather than taking the time to describe what steps I would take to acquire the information necessary to know exactly what parts of the emergency room needed restructuring and therefore was not invited back.

First round was a 30 min interview with two questions, about 15 min for each question. The person interviewing typed everything. It was a behavioral style interview. Round two was the same but the questions were 45 min. Two questions again, behavioral style.

I was initially contacted for a phone screen with HR, followed by two more phone interviews with Directors at the firm. After the 3rd phone interview, I was invited to Chicago for in person interviews (1 on 1) with 2 Managers, 1 Managing Director, and 1 Associate. The next week I was contacted by HR with an offer.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
First round consisted of a 30 minute phone interview. Pretty basic and easy behavioral questions. Asked what I knew and liked about Huron. A week after the first phone interview, I received a phone call from another individual. The phone conversation went into greater depth of my career experience and educational background. Received an invite to the office, but due to certain circumstance, I was not able to continue with the interview process.

Interviewed Aug 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 3 weeks)
Shortly after submitting an application through the Huron site, someone from HR contacted me to schedule a brief phone interview. After about 30-45 minutes of explaining my background and answering a couple behavioral questions, the woman told me her colleague would contact me later that week. My second conversation lasted only about 20 minutes and consisted mostly of basic questions about my work experience. I was flown out to Chicago later that week to interview on site with 3 consultants (all managers), who were all very welcoming and easy to talk with and asked me almost exclusively behavioral questions. Early the next week I met with a director in the practice I was interviewing for who was on a project in my area. We had about a 30-minute, very casual conversation about my experience and the position at Huron. A couple days later I received my offer.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Chicago, IL (took 1 week)
As a referral, I received a call from the HR rep for the healthcare arm of the firm. We did a very informal phone interview and then informed me that he would like to fly me out to Chicago to interview at the end of the week. I went, was given typical consulting treatment (nice hotel, per diem, dining at Smith & Wollensky, drinks), then interviewed the next day with 3 1-on-1 interviews. I received my offer a week later, which was good news as it was the first desirable offer I had gotten upon college graduation.
The people at Huron are generally nice, and it's a fairly young company. However, they are a group of workaholics, especially in the healthcare branch. Also, if working healthcare, expect to travel 4 days a week, every week. The upside to that is that you can live wherever you want as long as you can get to an airport.

Negotiation Details
I didn't even try to negotiate as the offer was better than I had expected. I would advise not working for this company if you aren't a workaholic or don't enjoy staring at numbers all day in a cramped conference room.
Other Details
I got the interview through an Employee Referral and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview and a 1:1 Interview.
