In my experience I felt led to believe they were recruiting me. Each interviewer talked about positive aspects of the job, money, trips etc. I was asked how I would like to work in certain areas near where I live. I was given very positive feed back through each step of the process. So after completing the last step, the virtual day in the life. Which I felt went very well, I was very taken a back when told that they felt that my high analytical skills did not make me a good fit as a financial advisor.

WHAT? Personally, I want any person I'm going to for financial advise to not be just a sales person but someone who will listen to me as a client, asset my needs and find the right financial product for me. Something you hear over and over agin from Edward Jones that they provide individualized financial strategies.

All they are really looking for is a profit driven sales force.
