I'm going to get a product off the shelves, look it over

  then try and sell it to me. (She chose randomly, so it wont be the same product every time).

The product was "Pet Odor Eliminator". I looked over the product and description on the back label for about a minute or less, then asked "Do have any dogs in the household or have had problems with pet odors on the furniture?" She said 'yes, all the time'. I replied "Well this is a great product to use. It's called Pet Odor Eliminator, how it works is you just spray it on your carpets, furniture or any surface and let it set for 5 minutes, then just go about your normal routine." She asked "Is it harmful to my pets or me" I said "No, just make sure the pets are out of the room when you're spraying, then it's fine to let them in a little while after you've sprayed."

Recommendation: Look the product over, no matter what it is. Describe what the product is and why the customer would benefit from purchasing it. Sell the benefits of buying the product.
