Since this was an interview for an internship, a lot of the questions were behaviorally based. Questions were asked based on projects completed in school.

Interviewed Oct 2010 in Manila, City of Manila (Philippines) (took 3 days)
I have responded to a recruitment call for a specialized IT consultant position, and afterwards set up a phone interview for 1 hour. When I was called, I believe that I had been a very interesting candidate as the phone call lasted almost 2 hours. A few days later, I was set up with an HR interview for some background checks and futher filtering. Within the same day I was schedule to meet with the business unit manager and also a draft proposal for compensation and benefits was printed out. I had requested for a few days to think it over, in which time my current manager had come up with a counter proposal to keep me in the company. I had declined the offer from this company.

Interviewed Feb 2012 in Herndon, VA (took a day)
Two 1:1 interviews back to back. One of them included a very short and simple case question. The rest of the interview was basic behavioral questions. Very lax experience overall. The process did seem to be organized poorly. The consultants interviewing were not even aware if they were interviewing interns or full time people, there was a bit of discrepancy beforehand.

Interviewed Mar 2012 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
Very bad experience with IBM. Interview is been schedule for my 5 years testng experience. When the interview is been scheduled , where in call letter they just mentioned , "Skill: Testing, and the location-Bannerghtta Road" and nothing else regarding if its for a specific project , do they need flexible working hours etc.. Went there at 9:30 am, submitted the documents, they made us wait till 1 pm in the bay of interview and then said "u can go and have lunch and come back in 45 mins" . We all (around 30+ candidates) did the same. WE came back and waited in reception for someone from HR team to excort us till the place of the interview was taking place. None turned up till 3pm and someone came and took us back to the interview bay. There again they made us wait for 45 mins more and then asked me to go to a room for 1st round of interview. You wont believe! First thing he asked is " Will you be able to work in flexible hours? ie 11 am to 8pm , if u can then only i will go for further technical discussions!" --I was shocked! Nothing was mentioned in the call letter and i was not ready for it and i told them after 6 can i work from home? He said "No" , Then i said that nothing of this work shift hours is mentioned while calling for interview. So the HR came and almost shouted at me saying " Do you expect i should mention the working hours in the Call letter?" I told "Yes, 9-6 is the normal working hours, if its deviating from it it should be asked for the candidate before calling for interview" he didnt have any answer and left. I simply Came out without even discussing technical questions as the interviewer is not ready to ask itself. AS a 5 years + experienced candidate ,i never came across this kind of interview anywhere else in my career. They dont value your time...very bad management. No planning...Accenture is far far better than this IBM. Friends , be careful , they dont respect you and your Time, specially HR Team. They would have either specified this working hours while sending the call letter or they should have mentioned if i clear technical round. Rather, they didnt even conduct tech interview becz of this. If any company is conducting interview for a specific project they should give the complete job description before calling the candidates. BEWARE!!
