IBM Compensation Specialist Interview

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Research Triangle Park, NC (took 1+ week)

I interviewed for an internal position. After 10 days the Hiring manager contacted me by email to set up telephone interview. Standard questions regarding my qualifications as wells as behavior based questions. No feedback was provided after the interview even after 1 email and one voicemail to the hiring manager. My current manger contacted the hiring manager to receive a response. I later found out that the posting and interview was a formality since another internal candidate had been promised the position. I am now looking for a job outside of the company.
