Called by my old boss at IBM asking to come back. He sent me to one of his peers and then his boss for an interview. I then received an offer and accepted it.

Interviewed Sep 2011 in Costa Mesa, CA (took 1 week)
Two interviews with two Functional Verification Test managers. First setup an hour-long phone interview and asked me about my current role on my team, questions about previous projects, and an explanation of what the job responsibilities consist of. The manager called me a week later saying they selected me for the position.
During this time, a second manager called me on my office number and gave me a quick 10-minute on the spot interview asking what I did on my team and he told me I was exactly what he was looking for.
Never got an offer from either of them. Lot of politics at play in IBM... Don't believe anyone until you have an offer!

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Orange, CA (took 4 weeks)
Very detailed and spread over multiple weeks. Had to speak with multiple people in multiple capacities. Had to make multiple inquiries to make sure the process was still moving forward. Culminated in an onsite interview on the East Coast

Interviewed Sep 2007 in Los Angeles, CA (took 2 weeks)
It was very precise, process was laid out up front, and they moved me through a variety of superiors and peers. They focussed on skills and team chemistry. They were very interested in education and previous experieince, but I think they also wanted to know what my long term plan is. IBM prides itself on very low turnover so they want to be sure you are interested in a long term relationship. They were also very upfront about being flexible with time and work location and I work from home all the time.

Negotiation Details
They made an offer and immediately asked if that wasn't enough to let them know. They didn't move too much off the first offer which was generous but not outrageous.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.

Interviewed Nov 2008 in Los Angeles, CA (took a day)
First round interviews were on campus. Students were then shortlisted for second round interviews in NYC. The flew us out there and we were made to interview with four different people back to back for an hour each. It was a tiring and grueling process, but the interviewers were very friendly and conversational. Each interviewer also presented me with a case to solve. The cases were from their past experiences and were generally open ended.
