Interviewed May 2010 in Ottawa, ON (Canada) (took 3 weeks)
The interview Process was very smooth for me. I applied online. After applying to almost over 25 jobs I got an interview call. I had an initial Phone interview with the Human Resource. A phone interview with Department manager and a Phone interview with Team manager & IPATO test.

The whole interview Process at IBM was very very Pleasant experience. The 1st interview with HR Coordinator(who was very nice and helpful), the second interview with Department Manager was again behavior and Technical mix. The last interview with Team Manager was highly Technical and again was very nice experience.
I was able to negotiate my terms and I would suggest all not to be shy or over sacred in negotiating terms but after you recieve your Verbal Offer.
Other Details
I Applied Online and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, an IQ/Intelligence Test and a Background Check.

Interviewed Feb 2010 in Toronto, ON (Canada) (took 3 weeks)
I had a phone interview about 1 hours long. Only one person interviewed me. He asked me technical questions, questions about my research, courses I have taken, what all interests me, demonstrated leadership experience (co-curricular activities). Technical questions were on database, data structures, distributed computing and networks. He asked a lot about my research (even undergrad) and what all I learned from my courses. He also asked whether I am comfortable with giving presentations etc.
After the long phone round I also had to take their online aptitude test IPATO. It was quiet easy and not long (45 min in all). After 3 weeks of waiting I was offered the job.

The interview consists of 3 round, 2 phone interviews, one with the manager and one with the team lead, the other one is a one on one technical interview. To get the Job in IBM, you need to fit their culture and values. Talk positive and speak loud and confident. But do not bogus.
