Interviewed Nov 2011 (took a day)
Recruiters are very efficient and friendly. Just required emails back and forth, then an offer to interview via email. Interview consisted of phone and face to face. The environment seems friendly, family-friendly. Although most are overworked and overlooked because it is a "virtual" environment, you may never even meet your line manager in person.

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
I was first contacted by a recruiter who did a preliminary screening interview. She was very friendly and set an open tone to the process. A couple of days later she contacted me to schedule a remote/teleconference interview with 2 Project Managers. This was supposed to take place via video chat but we had technical difficulties the day of the interview and ended up just having a teleconference.
Both interviewers were very friendly and profressional but open to answering questions honestly. Good example of individuals having worked their way up through the company, demonstrating professional growth potential. They informed me I would hear from someone within a week.
After a week, and with another job opportunity available, I followed up with the recruiter and she provided an offer same day, which I accepted.

Benefits for this company are the best I've ever had, and my offer was quite generous. Consequently I did not negotiate a thing because I feel as though I got offered a very good deal!

Interviewed Sep 2011 (took 2 weeks)
All three interviewers were kind, professional, and asked reasonable questions pertinent to the position.
I was informed that someone would contact me in a few days. Well, that never happened. I had to contact ICON after 7 business days from the last interview to be advised that they chose another candidate.
That just sucks. Why do CRO's feel so entitled to be disrespectful.

Interviewed Jun 2011 in Raleigh, NC (took a day)
I interviewed remotely with two managers and a HR person. They were very pleasant and asked the usual questions; why I'm looking for a job, why ICON, short-term plan, and long-term plan. They showed a lot of interest and I was surprised when I didn't get an offer. I was informed they choose another candidate.

Interviewed Apr 2010 (took a day)
An email was received indicating interest. I participated in a phone interview with a person from HR and was asked questions about a particular job that I applied for. The content of the interview was biased because I was asked about skill sets that were not part of the job description as posted on their website. I thought that was unfair, and was done to weed out qualified applicants from the hiring process.

Interviewed Jun 2011 (took 1 week)
The comapny recruiter contacted me to set up a phone interview via e-mail. She was nice and talked to me as if I already had the job. It started out with her asking for me to explain my current position and why am I interested in the job. The phone interview was very straight forward. She asked standard clinical questions such as describe the difference between a stage and a grade, what does RECIST stand for and what are the major differences between the two versions of RECIST. About a week after the phone interview I recieved an e-mail notification stating that I did not recieve the job as there were more qualified candidates for the position. I assume it was because of my limited on-site monitoring experience.
