Interview Details –
Hiring process included shortlisting , GD and interview by Higher Management as it was Campus Hiring
Initial shortlisting was made on basis of stream and CGP , candidates with Marketing and Finance having a CGP of 6 or higher were eligible for second round ie GD
GD included a group of 10-12 candidates and topics were current and relevant , also in the end every candidate was asked to conclude the topic , my GD topic was "Who is better cricketer Dhoni or Sachin " a relevant topic after India won world cup
Finally their was Interview in which questions were thrown from various fields including Marketing , Personal interest , finance and behavioral science.
Panel was very observant and meticulous , which also reflected in their results of GDs and final selection of candidates only downside was they were not open to sarcasm and laugh breaks
Interview Question – Define product life cycle in reference to banking and give eg of product whihc is recently reached end of its PLC View Answer
Reason for Declining – I was looking for better option which i got later , apart from this banking job is hectic and predictable to its core

Interview Details – The interview was an on campus interview for the MBA candidates. The shortlisted students were given a small pre-interview introduction about IDBI Bank. The panel had 3 members - 1 from HR and 2 line Managers (DGM/GM). In the span of 30-40 minutes the panel grilled the students on the basics of banking but major questions were from the resume we had submitted.
Interview Question – I was given a scenario analysis question and I was asked to present my way of tackling the situation/solving the problem. Answer Question

Interview Details – It was quick, 10 minutes. A lot of candidates were to be interviewed and it was nearing 6 pm, end of day. Nothing much. They needed people in numbers and that is exactly what they did.

Interview Details – Got placed through college placement. Started with 150 member interview. Interviewed only PGDM candidates and not MBA in SCMS. Got interviewed in Dec 28, 12. Shortlisted 30 members from Group Discussion. Interview lasted from evening to morning 1:30 am and the successful candidates were announced soon. There were 6 persons who were successful. Now, Going for 3 months training in 3 phases and going to join by Oct.1, 2012.

Interview Details – Selection process started with group discussion. selected candidates were then interviewed by a panel of senior management officers of the bank. both process was very difficult. successful candidates in interview were then offered post of assistant manager in the bank. before the whole process a presentation was given about the bank which cameout to be fake after joining the bank. work culture very bad for women employees as they are forced to use their feminine abilities to increase sales the branch.
Interview Question – I was asked that you have scored such a good marks through your academics then why a job in the bank and not study more and get into being a professor? View Answer

Interview Details – It was mostly by the panel head. Further a lot of emphasis was there on my resume and all the projects and internships done by me. Not much of financial knowledge was judged. More emphasis was on what i say i know.
