Interviewed May 2012 (took 1 week)
I did not make it to the final round so I'll just share my experience interviewing with IMC HK. The first round process consists of an online assessment and a phone interview from their HK office. The online assessment is mainly about how fast you respond to things (pretty reasonable for traders) and pretty easy. The phone interview lasted for 15 minutes and was mainly behavioral and very east brain teasers.

Interviewed Feb 2011 in Chicago, IL (took a day)
One on one was fairly easy, no brainteaser or anything make you feel silly. But the test after one on one was an nightmare. Get ready to tease your brain. The test includes two parts. One is the math or probability part, you pretty much can find lots of similar test on internet. The second part is the Graph or IQ test. It's pain in the neck. Piece of advice, do yourself a favor, practice before hand.

Very professional Interview process. HR person is nice and guides you through the process nicely. Interview was with several people, 2:1, 1:1 and HR interview. Both technical and personal as well. They have some really smart people and it was a challenge to talk about low latency trading systems. They don't really care about your background, but they will test your skills to maximum. Technical questions were very specific to Linux OS and challenging. Make sure you dig deep into Linux OS internals before seeing these guys!
Trading floor can be quite stressful environment and they are trying to see if you are good fit and if you can handle stresses coming along. As System Integration Engineer you'd mostly in between traders & other tech guys and having skills how to handle these situations is important.

It starts with:
1. Online Application
2. A online maths test in a hall.

The HR stressed that each part was only a part of the whole interview process, so individual result in each does not account for success or failure.

Interviewed Feb 2010 (took 3 weeks)
Initial contact was with HR. Filled out application and questionnaire. Consent to credit check. First round of interview was with 2 senior traders to whom I would be working for directly. Second interview was with Senior Trader. Low-key. Not high pressure. Some mock trading involved. Awesome people. Great office space. Good benefits package. Seems to be great place to work.

Interviewed May 2009 (took 1 week)
It was a very bad interview. The interviewers were rude and disrespectful. They did not prepare well and as a consequence asked some really stupid questions. I heard from a friend who also interviewed with them the total procedure took months and he needed to show up for seven interviews and also do a written test. At the end he got a new job before getting an offer.

Interviewed Oct 2008 in Zurich (Switzerland) (took 4+ weeks)
The interviews were not very detailed technically, but the interviewers ask for every error and put you under pressure. It is important to have high experience as most of the employees in Zurich office have 10+ years of experience. Otherwise you have to be perfect on the interviews. The people allow discussions on programming, background, etc. They are friendly but demanding.
