Interviewed Apr 2008 in Moscow (Russia) (took a day)
Was contacted by the HR and had a 30 min long basic HR questions - like what's my motivation and what do I know about the company - so silly for the close banking world. Several days after they invited me for an interview, which consisted of three 1-1 conversations:
1. HR - motivation and stuff like that again
2. Head of Securities Custody- some job-specific questions about legislation and process of dividend payments, SWIFT knowledge etc. Asked me which group would I like to join, on which I replied:dividend processing'
3. Head of Dividend Processing - she was checking if have a general understanding of the area.
I received an offer within two weeks after.

Interviewed Aug 2009 in Windsor, CT (took a day)
I was expecting a much more indepth interview and as I had been laid off some months before was well prepared to present my experience and interest. It was basically a look see, lasting about 20 minutes. I walked away knowing they just wanted to spend time with me to keep up their working relationship with the recruiting firm. I don't think I was in the age range they preferred. Interviewer was really bland and made little eye contact.

Interviewed Sep 2008 (took 1+ week)
This interview was complicated. I interviewed with 4 individuals to get to the point where an offer was made. This process was tedious and repetitive given the amount of overlap in the conversations. After the offer, counter offer and final offer, I accepted and went through the traditional drug / background test. Make sure that you can prove everything listed on your resume... I had to track down a diploma from 20+ years ago to make my resume 'pass' the accuracy test.

Interviewed Nov 2008 (took a day)
Applied online (via an outsourcing HR firm site), upon arrival on site completed skills test, followed by an interview. Questions: why ING? specifics of investment banking/corporate finance (i.e. functions of the job), background questions. No brain teasers. Pretty standard.
Did not make it to the assessment center - there were 2 positions for total of 1,000+ applicants that year (and Lehman had just collapsed, so I doubt if recruiting even continued).
