I applied through college or university and the process took 7+ weeks - interviewed at ITC in December 2009.

Interview Details – Process at IIT's : First round is a Group Discussion and the second round is an interview. Once the guy clears the two rounds a business head then takes a small interview where the final decision to hire or not hire is taken. However, during lateral hiring initially the screening round is carried out at any of the factories. Post which the candidate is send to Head office for further discussions.

Interview Question – A lot of technical stuff   Answer Question

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at ITC in September 2010.

Interview Details – The interviews were for the technical function.
An application form was required to be filled up by the candidates in the campus selection process.
This was followed by a GD for around 80 shortlisted people.
Around 20 candidates were further shortlisted for a personal interview round.
Around 5 people were selected in the final rounds.

I applied through college or university and the process took a day - interviewed at ITC in January 2010.

Interview Details – Got placed here through my B- School (JBIMS). 1st round was a group discussion based on a case study provided by the company. This was followed by a 2 round interview process. Mainly revolved around what was on the CV, past experience projects etc.. Lot of emphasis on learnings from past expereices, understanding of the projects worked on and future inclination

Negotiation Details – No negotiotion of salary possible, its is fixed depending on the level at which one would join the organisation
