They called me for Software Engineer position( VC++/C++). They asked me about couple of questions like
sizeof class(32 bit vs 64bit), advantages of 64bit over 32bit,
sorting an array without loops,
given an array of odd number series find the sum of odd numbers which are less than or equal to to given anargumnet N,

can work in multithreaded env
can work in anything u want -- from stress team, architecture tam, core team, automation teams -- many teams are there;
more managers & less developers
stressful -- more releases; every time release slips by 1-2 weeks

One interview with 2 leads and 2nd interview with 2 managers.
Leads mainly questioning on Java: collections, class loading, JSP, Servlets.
Managers mainly questioned on puzzles, algorithms, synchronizing, deadlock handling.

Negotiation Details
IVY has peak salaries for every designation. If you are offered peak salary and you are not promoted next year, you would not get any hike. So i would say if you are offered peak salary for a designation better go for a higher designation.

I took an interview on May 01 2010, they asked me questions for 45 mins it was more of a paper work means they are asking me what is the output for the program and asked me to implement Connections pool logic. Below are the list of questions that they asked me.
1. What is the difference between Vector and ArrayList. I told them synchronized thing then they asked me to write an implementation for Vector class for add and get methods.
2. What is connection pooling and can u implement connection pooling what is the use of connection pooling
3. Dfiference between <@ include and <jsp:include and gave me one question and asked me to guess the output for that.
4. asked me to rate myself in Core java, struts, servlets and jsp. out of 10
5. what are the implicit objects of JSP
6. Jsp: Can we access exception object in a jsp that is not declared as error page.
They are testing on the implementation part.
