The company policy is, so long as it's within ethical and moral standards, and does not bring a negative view, financial losses, legal concerns, etc, then there might be an exception. However it's not THAT simple. I answered, "I would ask the Store Manager's opinion in the manner, and ask what he might do in that scenario and whether or not if it were ever questioned by upper management if he would admit to the fact.
