Interviewed Jul 2011 in Sandy, UT (took 2 days)
They did open interviews at a hotel. So instead of letting us stand in the lobby waiting to go into the event room- we had to line up ouside in the middle of the summer- so you were roasting through your nice clothes and were drenched with sweat by the time you finally got to go in. I stood in line for about 25 minutes to then have him speak to me for about 70 seconds, he seemed very rushed and anxious to just go on to the next person. The interview was in an event room with about 30 tables set up and you just went to the next available person, inside the whole thing was very rush rush.

Interviewed Apr 2011 in Frisco, TX (took 4+ weeks)
First you fill out an application. Then you go in for an interview on the days that they are being held. Since this will be the grand opening it may vary. I am still waiting to hear back and find out if I got the job!! You should go in with a smile and portray yourself as outgoing. Try to think of answers to some possible questions that they might ask. I was really excited after watching the video. It pays $10.00/hour plus benefits and promotion opportunities. The people seemed very friendly and I think that anyone would love to work there.

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took 1 week)
I was called by my friend an employee of In n out to come by the store for an interview at a designated time. I came to the store spoke to an associate and they went to the back to tell the manager. I waited about 40 min to finally get interviewed. The manager who interviewed me asked a bunch of questions both about work experiences to hobbies and school. They then told me that they would like to set me up for another interview which was supposedly my final interview. A few days later, I come back to have my second interview, and turns out the person i was supposed to be interviewed by, wasn't available so i had to have an unnecessary interview. I finally have an interview with the store manager, and it wasn't nerve racking at all , questions were about school, hobbies, how i could relate my hobby to work and stuff like that. I left the interview that day and got a call back from the manager within a few days to find out that i had been accepted for the job.

Interviewed Sep 2010 in San Diego, CA (took a day)
It was an open interview start at 9:30am. I came in early and there was a very long line of people waiting to be interview. I waited for about 2 hours to be interviewed and it took about 15 minutes. I never got any call after that. The interview questions were: Why do you want to work at In N Out? What are your hobbies? Then she asked about my last jobs, about my school...

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took a day)
I have already worked for the company in the past. But my INITIAL interview went something like this.
Turned in ap, saw a manager right away. Now you have to apply online. But when I first met with one of the managers, the questions were short, but I took the change to offer more info, and talk more. To him that showed initiative and drive, and energy. A few days later I met with the Store manager and was asked when I could start.
The store managers pretty much rely on the other managers interview, and don't typically ask too many questions.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took a day)
The interview was more in depth than most fast food restaurants. They really wanted to get to know the applicant and also check intelligence. I spoke with a team member and then was interviewed by the store manager. The process was good and I was asked questions about my future plans, background and why in-n-out.
