Interviewed Sep 2010 in San Diego, CA (took a day)
It was an open interview start at 9:30am. I came in early and there was a very long line of people waiting to be interview. I waited for about 2 hours to be interviewed and it took about 15 minutes. I never got any call after that. The interview questions were: Why do you want to work at In N Out? What are your hobbies? Then she asked about my last jobs, about my school...

Interviewed Jun 2010 (took a day)
I have already worked for the company in the past. But my INITIAL interview went something like this.
Turned in ap, saw a manager right away. Now you have to apply online. But when I first met with one of the managers, the questions were short, but I took the change to offer more info, and talk more. To him that showed initiative and drive, and energy. A few days later I met with the Store manager and was asked when I could start.
The store managers pretty much rely on the other managers interview, and don't typically ask too many questions.

Interviewed Feb 2008 (took a day)
The interview was more in depth than most fast food restaurants. They really wanted to get to know the applicant and also check intelligence. I spoke with a team member and then was interviewed by the store manager. The process was good and I was asked questions about my future plans, background and why in-n-out.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in San Ramon, CA (took 1 week)
I went in one day and got an application, filled it out and gave it to a cashier. I can't remember if they called me or if I called them to make sure they got it but I remember decently soon after I had an interview day. I came on the interview day and there were a couple other people waiting for their interviews, it was a 1 on 1 with one of the managers. After my interview filled with lots of smiles after everything I said I remember shaking hands and I think he asked if I was available for training within the week! This was so long ago but it was quick, it was just one interview! Harmless.
