Service Cloud - The ability for a company to secure immediate user feedback via social media is invaluable. Further the ability to immediately address a customer's concern via social media creates cheerleaders rather than detractors. (actual answer much longer but you get the gist)

Service cloud is more geared to mobile service indiviuals worling in the field or as CSRs on the phone. Social or chatter has little to do with gathering social feeds on customer concers. You are speaking of the Radiany 6 social listening componets for the marketing cloud. Get you facts straight!
