Received and Declined Offer

Interviewed Jan 2008 in Bellevue, WA (took 2 days)
Nothing special: standard industry interview. Wide range of people, standard questions. We had a few overlaps during the interview: people didn't know that they had to conduct the 1:1 interview at the moment they were supposed to, so some of them had to re-schedule for the next day
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
Declined the offer due to the 2 factors: - working environment: they have cubucles, and I believe that the best development can't be performed without a door and quiet space; - lack of focus of the company: they are competing with titans but have nothing going for them
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview.

Interviewed May 2008 (took 2 weeks)
They took 4 rounds of interviews. The first round was about past experience and some design stuff. Second round was technical and problem solving. Questions were in the range of average to difficult. Third round was about solving some research problem. After that there was another interview with the management, typical HR. The same day they made an offer. Offer was very good. So accepted it.

Negotiation Details
Offer was very good. Still tried to push a bit. But they were not ready to negotiate much. As the offer was really at per with industry best, there was no reason for a hard bargain. Accepted the offer. They offered some joining bonus.
Other Details
I got the interview through a Recruiter and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview and a Background Check.
