I applied online and the process took 1 week - interviewed at Informatica in May 2011.
Interview Details – started with phone interview which went for 1 hours than interview with manager , following a Panel interview. It was all about the technical skills in this company as it is for engineering. Good people and best work culture
Reason for Declining – I got good offer from some other place in a start up
The process took a day - interviewed at Informatica in September 2011.
Interview Details – There were 2 aptitude rounds and 5 Interviews where two of them were 1:1 HR Interviews and the other three were panels with more than one Interviewers and were purely technical. Questions were related to Java, Database Concepts and Unix working. Not so tough, but have to be thorough with the basics and a few puzzles and related questions were asked. Each Interview had a different set of HRs . They will mostly ask you to give a firm reason other than stories about dream companies and similar stuff.s You have to give them a strong reason enough to convince them that you are going to be part of Informatica Corporation.
Interview Question – What would you do when you encounter a hanging process? Answer Question
Negotiation Details – I have not joined yet. The Interview happened at my college about a month ago and they were our first company and there was tough competition .
Nice pay package and health benefits.
