Interviewed Feb 2011 (took 6 weeks)
Three separate interviews via phone. Three separate gatekeepers. I get to the final (4th) interview with someone in sales out of New York with a Brand Management bias. Std sales versus marketing issue. She wanted 100% sell whereas I am more about strategic selling. Read a case study on fictitious POPCO which the gov't deems an ingredient is cancer causing, do a presentation, then sell--the sales person. IRIs approach is all wrong.

Interviewed Mar 2008 (took 5 days)
It was a simple interview, a cake walk, on the phone. This was followed by an in-person interview the next day. They were impressed. I was asked to show up 2 days later for a panel interview where other managers spoke to me for about an hour. That was mostly behavioral.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
The in-person interview had a lot of disgruntled employees show up ... and they asked me questions about my personal life, where I got really uncomfortable and found them unprofessional. That is not a professional environment.

Interviewed Aug 2008 in Chicago, IL (took 1+ week)
There was a phone interview with HR. Then I went in to meet with the hiring manager and some people from the team. The whole interview sessions took about 4 hours. I had a good idea of the outcome after I left that day. I was asked the typical interview questions.

Interviewed Sep 2008 in Athens (Greece) (took 1 week)
The position was Research Executive (whether Senior on not). I had a phone call to arrange the interview. When i arrived, i waited at about 40 minutes in the reception. Finally someone appeared and we went to the interview room. At first there was a woman trying to keep me informed about the company. Not confident at all. She aksed me some questions upon my CV. In the meanwhile, another man entered the room, he was from the marketing department. He asked me again the same questions with the woman. Additionally he was asking me questions about marketing, just to reasure that the he was better than me in the field. As he was trying to give me some lessons upon marketing, another man entered the room! He was propably the Director or the CEO. Once again, i answeared the same questions upon my CV.
At some point of time, he last man, aksed me if i had applied to other companies, other than his. I answeared yes, but I informed him that i wouldn't want to mention the companies. He insisted then with a rather rude way and in someway he pressurised me to tell him if i applied to other research companies. I refused to tell him. He became somewhat of annoyed and expressed it.
The overall experience was awfull and pressuriing. The good thing though, was that the income could be negotiated. App. 1100-1200 euros per month.
At the end, i told them that i'm not finally interested for the position. Thus the rejection (probably) was from both sides.
