It was really easy, first we had a written test comprising of verbal and apti questions,
next we had an hr interview.

I got the interview through a College or University and the interview consisted of a 1:1 Interview and an IQ/Intelligence Test.

This was just an interview for testing our communication skills and leadership skills.. besides, the company also tested our learn ability in a non-technical manner... So no technical questions and it was more like an HR interview which had only aspect related to technical field.. That was regarding the project we had worked in our final year engineering

The interview was a campus recruit and most of the students who clear the intial aptitude test made it through the interview. it had some puzzles.

Interviewers didn't provide direction re their interests. There was 1 leader on the call to whom the others deferred. The call leader did most of the talking and his reports interjecting inane observations. It did not feel like a company that knew how to hire senior staff.

There were 2 rounds of interview, first was technical wit 2 guys taking interview, one Manager and other Technical person, this round was full technical. The second round was Managerial round where again 2 guys took interview and asked major things about the process followed in the project. The last one was HR round.

Questioned on puzzles, the number of barbers in the city, innovativeness displayed, handling pressure situation, in the previous job, summer internships, college projects, future plans, hobbies, preference of location , gap in the studies, reasons to do further studies. clubs activities, competitions participated.
One panellist kept talking over the phone the entire time. and had a bizzare smile every few minutes..

Infosys visited our campus. Only students with a grade above a particular grade (65% i think) were considered and allowed to go through the process. There were two rounds: 1) Written test - it tested our logical reasoning (and I think, to an extent, sentence formations in English) If you study the book written by R.S.Agarwal on Logical Reasoning you will easily be through. 2) 1-1 Interview - Our technical skills were NOT tested. We were given puzzles and were tested on our approach to solving them. And our communication skills in English was tested. Pretty simple interview to crack.

Since we were college students going to be recruited for the first time we did not have the option of negotiating. We didn't mind either!
