Interviewed Mar 2012 in Bridgewater, NJ (took 3 months)
Went to Infosys office and gave interview over phone and was selected and an offer was made to me which I accepted; but later I was asked to give another interview but the interview never happened. HR did a good job of trying to connect me to the interview panel but the panelist seems to be having some issues in connecting with me. Currently I am not sure what are the next steps.
Overall I am not very happy and convinced with the approach.

first there was an aptitute and general english written test. after qualifying it i had to face an HR 1 on 1 interview which lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes. the aptitute and english test were ok types. the HR was a very friendly guy and asked me about my project and al ther stuff.

first step:
Aptitude test consisting of general English ,quantitative.
2nd step:Interview(HR & Technical combined 1:1 interview)
they would check how fair r u with our C.V IE whether u had enough knowledge about whatever mentioned in your C.V.Then they also check the basic communication skills,your desire to learn & your confidence level.

The apptidue was text book. Nothing so great about it. Any Tom Dick and Harry can get through this exam. The HR interview was all boring. Nothing to test the new candidate as such. Very simple questions. All my preparation for the interview was like "Why did I even prepare for this?".

They came for on campus interview. First they conducted written test. This was focused to elivate analatycal thingking and english grammer;
Later they slected candidates for interview on the same day
Interview was full HR interview. They didn't ask single technical question. Mainly focused on resume and the things you have done in the past.

I recieved a call from the Staffing Agency regarding the job profile as SQL consultant, they said that the skillset need not to contain SQL knowledge but they will pay high amount every month after getting selected.
First round was a Telephonic Interview. They asked several questions related to my previous experience and professional aspects.
Then I visited the Company's HR for the other round. There I was asked to explain my current role in company and expectations from their company.

They were offering me a Consultant Job-1 profile. However Pay scale was high, but I had to join them by surrendering a higher profile than of that they were offering.
