I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Infosys (Torrance, CA) in November 2010.

    Interview

I was interviewed at client location for 3 hrs and also had two more rounds of telephonic interview. I waited for 1 month for the offer letter to come and once it came it took 1 more month for the joining to take place. I had lot many expectations from the company but unfortunately nothing was fulfilled.

    Interview

Profile: Protege Intern, India. Open for select engineering institutes. Shortlisted ~30 on basis of CV, projects done. 1 Telephonic Technical Interview Depends on the interviewer. For me, the questions were mostly based on the course projects and other code I worked with and software testing. Also, he had started off with asking what was the most interesting thing among work I had done. I talked about one of the projects, explained about it and mentioned what the interesting part. Some guys got algorithmic ones like sorting a large data set with limited memory. (External sorting) 1 HR Inteview Fairly simple. I guess, being a intern selection, they decided to keep it so. Mostly kind of a behavioral interview.

    Interview

There are two rounds in interview. It is a two day process.written followed by HR.In written there are 3 sections Syllogisms Quantitative aptitude Verbal and each section has an indivisual cutoff so better be thorough with those. HR is very friendly and asks basic technical questions and concentrates on the things mentioned on the resume.INFOSYS is a heaven for freshers. So workhard to achieve. Maintain minimum 68percentage to be eligible.
