Interview Details – Back in 2004, we had a puzzles test, having ten questions and one could get an interview call if seven or more answers were correct. There were two interviewers. The interview started with a few friendly chit-chats like 'nice tie' and 'Was the journey to the campus pleasant?'. The interview was partly technical, partly behavioral and partly HR questions. Technical questions included simple logical and mathematical puzzles, fairly generic and not related to the syntax of any particular programming language. The interviewers wanted to ascertain if I could think analytically and on the fly. They were very friendly and having a conversation was a breeze. In the end they confirmed my email ID. The whole process took not more than 40 minutes.

This was a campus recruitment drive at with students from Chennai's prestigious institutions. The presentation was straightforward with right amount of information and set the right mood for a mass campus interview process.
As the recruitment drive was for 100s of engineers, the process was day long with regular aptitute test followed by 1:1 interview involving both personal and technical questions. HR round was skipped and results announced at the end of the day. Overall, a fair and simple process

This was a campus recruitment hiring process in india, which, includes a puzzle solving and normal Tech interview.
In the puzzle solving, everyone was given 20 puzzles to solve. We need to solve/score between 60% to 80%. If, you solve everything correctly, they may think that you had read all these puzzles. Hence, need/should not solve everything.
Tech interview will again have couple of puzzles and you need not answer them correctly. Next will be few questions on academics. Thats all. Wait for the results of interview.
Interview Question – Puzzles asked in the interview questions were easy, but, I could not crack it. Hence, I was given easy options to solve it. It also proved that previously, I had no idea about that puzzle. Answer Question
