Interviewed Mar 2011 in Chennai (India) (took 2 days)
It was great experience. This was the first company to come in our college for campus recruitment. It started with a presentation from the recruitment team. They talked about the structure and working culture of the company. They also disclosed the package (Year 2011, 3.25 Lac per year). the presentation was followed by the IQ test, which included two sections, Verbal ability and the reasoning. After an hour the selected candidate names were announced. They were than interviewed. Interview was more or less normal interaction, one on one type. out of total 220 selected for Interview, 214 were finally selected to join the company.

Interviewed Dec 2009 in Bangalore (India) (took a day)
First stage was the presentation from the HR about the company. Next was the written test which included all types of reasoning question - quantitative as well as English based. After the shortlist, folks were called from 1:1 HR interview which was general, based on the resume submitted and scores in college. Some have technical interview round as well. But, that depends on luck and chances for which are minimum.

Interviewed Jun 2008 (took a day)
For the interview process, first there will be a written test which includes topics from basic mathematics and English that tests your grammatical skills. The most interesting part is the section that tests your problem solving skills. One can expect puzzling questions in this section and working on "puzzles to puzzle you" book may render helpful. If the candidate clears this round, as per our interview we were directed to a panel (HR round) where we had a personal talk / interview with an employee from the hiring team who tested our communication skills. (some times again problem solving skills). With this you are done with the interview process and will be waiting for the final list of selected candidates and luckily I am one of them.

Negotiation Details
I did not negotiate with the interviewer as the package is pre-fixed.
And for the advice, if its your first offer never focus on the salary package instead focus on your role and what work you will be doing while working with that company.

Interviewed Jan 2011 (took a day)
Infosys visited our college for recruitment.
The first part of the hiring process was an Aptitude test having two sections: Verbal and Quantitative.
Aspirants had to clear each section individually in order to advance to the second round which was the 1:1 interview.
The interview was purely to gauge the learnability of the candidate. Infosys believes in recruiting candidates who have the right aptitude and a high amount on learnability.

Infosys training at Mysore is the best. First class facilities to trainees as well as training is too good. Feeling proud of it. I would advice students to come out of the conscious that training is too tough and other such illusions. Ofcourse one should put in effort to study and learn and complete that day's studies on daily basis. All I would say is Be Positive .
