Interview with CEO first visit, second visit interview with President, then 3rd visit interview with COO and co-owner. Very hip feel, open office with small work areas. The kind of place that would be fun and productive if you really like your colleagues and are engaged in collaborative work. Interviews were easy and enjoyable with all EXCEPT 1 of the people who seemed to be playing the role of the hard nosed, difficult interviewer. So it was 3/4 positive and 1/4 negative.

I originally went to a jobfair back in Jan and they expressed an interest then. I was called in to do a formal face to face interview in Feb, and it went very well and I expected to get the job, but two weeks later I recieved an email declining me the offer. I went and accepted other employment and then in late Feb I received a phone call asking me if I was still interested and I said that I was, I then was made another appointment to come in and do another interview, but I still was not told if I had the job or not. Finally two days ago I was formerly offered the position and begin working on 4/4

Interviewed. I have 15 years of experience in this field, with many years as a supervisor. The gentleman that interviewed me said that I had incredible credentials, but didn't want to take a chance of losing his job by hiring me- that I was "over-qualified" to hang cable- though it's something that I have thouroughly enjoyed all my life!

Interviewed Apr 2009 in Wayne, NJ (took 2 months)
Phone interview with hiring manager. A few weeks later an in-person interview with the hiring manager, the team leader, and a phone conversation with another team member at the same level as the position for which I interviewed. A few weeks after that a half-day of interviews with 3-4 cross-functional team members. A week after that another interview with a more senior person on another cross-functional team.

I went in for interview and they gave me a piece of cable and some fittings and asked me to put them together. Then they gave me a quick aptitude test, basic cable knowlwdge. then they interviewed me.

The entire group consisted of MBA level former bankers who transitioned into a private company. The interviews were technical, with questions about specific Excel functions as well as personality and fit questions. The team consisted of five or six people, but only three conducted the actual interview.
