Interviewed Jan 2012 in Nashville, TN (took 2 weeks)
I was first contacted by their corporate recruiter. They scheduled a phone interview. After the phone interview, I was then scheduled to take a Brooks assessment of my skills and personality. Once they received the results I was contacted again to schedule a face to face interview. After the interview, I was then scheduled for a third interview.

Interviewed Aug 2011 (took 1+ week)
I was called by a corporate recruiter. Asked about my resume and work history. Asked what I knew about Insperity. She was interested in me and said she would like to set me up with the hiring manager (district manager). She went on to advise me that the hiring manager is a little rough and to be prepared. This right off the back made me raise my eyebrows. I was able to get a day off for the interview. A day before my interview, I was called and asked to change it to the week after. She wanted me to research the company as much as possible. So I did do my research. But most of it came up as negativity. I went over the company's website as much as I could. I went and interview with the local district manager.
Interview Questions
Reason for Declining
I went to the interview and the district manager was not pleasent right from the start. She lets you know her credentials and why she is the district manager. Very arrogant and she seemed to talk down on you. She went on to let me know how un-qualified I am for the position. She gave me a quiz on the company and kept going until she finally stumped me (yes, I know I am not a master of Insperity, ask me about my own company and I'll kill it.But I don't know Insperity inside out). She then advised me that if I ws going to waste a district managers time that I should study up on the company. She is rude, arrogant, and definately not a person I would want to work for or with.

Interviewed May 2011 (took 2 weeks)
Received a call from a Corporate Development Recruiter based in Texas in response to an on line job post post I had responded to. We agreed to a time to go have an initial phone interview where my background would be reviewed in greater detail and the details of the position would be explained. The phone interview went well. There was a high level of interest in civic and professional organizations I might be involved in. Following the interview I was asked to take an on line personality assessment and complete standard application documentation. Shortly thereafter I was told I would be invited to a face to face interview with the hiring manager. The hiring manager interview never materialized. A few weeks later the corporate recruiter emailed me to ask if the hiring manager had contacted me yet. When I responded "no" the recruiter indicated there would be follow up with the hiring manager to figure out why the ball had been dropped. No response since. The field office and home office didn't appear to be on the same page.
