I applied through other source and the process took 4+ weeks - interviewed at Institute of Rural Management in October 2009.

Interview Details – Advertisement published in newspapers. Applied thru conventional mail.
Received phone call for first test/ interview @ hometown.
More than 20 candidates appeared for 2 posts.
2nd Interview Call received thru phone.
Chief Executive himself interviewed.
Offer received thru phone call. Accepted.
Email received for details of Orientation and Training Workshop (for 17 days @ Islamabad).
Air Tickets given to reach back at duty stations. Official Vehicle assigned to give pick from Karachi Airport upto duty stations.

Interview Question – What is your family background?   Answer Question

Negotiation Details – Well, I was not able to negotiate.
Advice: Ask for details of the project and resources allocated to handle the project.
