Interviewed May 2009 in Chandler, AZ (took 1+ week)
When I applied for the job, I had an interactive interview session with the hiring managers and 3 or 4 senior leaders within the organization. Most of them have been familiar with my work since it was an internal hire. SO the interview was relatively casual and revolved around my post-mortem analysis and learnings from a massive program in which I was a critical project lead. The interviewers were singularly impressed on a successful architecture change I made seamlessly midstream in a product.. something that was unsuccesful the previous two times. My advice for interviewers is to have a single most important achievement and have the explanation ready for why it is unique. Rest of the interview will get structured around it.

Contacted for On-site interview in January; a little rushed. Chandler AZ has pretty nice weather during the winter, and it is a new city. Both behavioral and technical interview. All technical questions are based on individual's field of study.

Interviewed May 2010 in Chandler, AZ (took 1 week)
I submitted my resume online and got an email invitation for phone interview after a week. The phone interview went smoothly, the manager called me on time and asked a lot of technical questions, some of them are very detail. At the end of the phone interview, I was offered an on-site interview. After a week, I went for on-site. It was fun and last about4 hours. 4 managers gave 1:1 interview to me. Interview questions are tech and non-tech related, such as behavioral questions...

Interviewed Dec 2010 in Chandler, AZ (took 1 week)
I created a candidate profile on intel.com/jobs in October 2010. I was not actively looking for work so was not bothered when they did not contact me. Then in December I received an email notifying me that I had been matched to a job and to apply if I was interested which I did.
The next day I got an email notifying me that I had been selected for a phone interview and a link to schedule the phone interview which I did. Staffing called me at the scheduled time and the interview lasted about 15 minutes. It was mostly verifying what was on my resume and questions about my background. There was a few technical questions but nothing too hard.
Was contacted the day after phone interview and asked to schedule an in person interview which I did. Interview started at 1 pm and took all afternoon. There was 2 panels of 3 engineers each and a 1:1 with the group lead. Lots of technical , behavioral and safety questions. The atmosphere was friendly, professional but It lasted way too long. I did not expect it to last that long and did not get lunch in before going to interview.
