describing physics of AFM, SEM, profilometry etc. Behavior questions consisted of how to deal with
sticky situations with colleagues.
Was invited for an on-site and I requested for a different time to reschedule but the interviewer declined to

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Hillsboro, OR (took 2 weeks)
Placed my resume on the general job board. I was contacted for a phone interview. It was very informal. I was told about the position they wanted to hire me for, and they asked about my career goals and a few things I placed on my resume. I got offerened an on-site interview.
On site-interview:
- ~40 minute presentation
- Technical interview consisting of questions on my PhD research as well as everything I placed on my resume.
- Lunch consisted of a presentation of Intel and a window tour of the facilities
- Afternoon interviews were pretty simple. Asked things that were on my resume. A lot of explanation of the demands of the job.

Contacted for On-site interview in January; a little rushed. Chandler AZ has pretty nice weather during the winter, and it is a new city. Both behavioral and technical interview. All technical questions are based on individual's field of study.

Interviewed Jan 2011 in Hillsboro, OR (took a day)
After a campus recruiting event I was invited for an on-site interview. The on-site consisted of 8 1:1 interviews with members of the group, area manager, and VP, a 40 minute presentation, and lunch. There was an equal split of technical and behavioral questions. I got the sense that the particular group I interviewed with had some serious problems hence the interest of the higher level managers.

Interviewed Nov 2010 in Hillsboro, OR (took 4 weeks)
The interview consisted of several one on one meetings with various engineers. Topics ranged from behavioral questions to some riddles, but mostly focused on my research and the job description. There was also an hour long presentation. Cannot imagine a nicer group of people to have interviewed me.
Before the interview, there was roughly an hour long interview on the phone, which consisted of speaking to a hiring manager.
To prepare, I would just know your research and prepare questions for them as much as possible.
