Interviewed Apr 2012 (took 6 days)

Sent an app one day and within an hour got a call to talk about the roles/group. I got a phone screen that same day and got a loop invite for the following week. travel was fine. The actual day was a cluster event, it was in a hotel, disorganized and just adhoc it felt like when a Walmart opens in rural missisippi.

I found myself being interviewed in very short and chaotic stints running into other candidates. During the interviews it became clear i was being talked to for jobs i didnt even apply for vs the one i actually did apply for. Also, I found some of the interviewers really lacking skills to interview and due to the "why are you asking these questions vs arch questions" was kind of wasting everyones time. In the end, I was too expensive grade 9/10 SW arch and they really wanted more JR coders at grade 7/8s at +/-100k.

I would recommend that the front end process get improved to not waste peoples time and ensure proper matching and expectations for reqs be taken into account. I would also recommend some changes to the meat market model and get better qualified / experience people for loops.

I would not interview with this group again not if they follow this process.
