No Offer – Interviewed in New York, NY Jul 2009 – Reviewed Aug 5, 2010
Interview Details –
I came in 3 or 4 times, and each time stayed between 2 and 4 hours. I feel like I have met everyone in the firm at this point. After the second interview, things went fast - I came back in quickly and was close to an offer. People were really friendly and there was a great chemistry.
After the last interviewed, I sent a thank you note, and followed up a month after, then 6 weeks after, then 3 months later, and I got nothing. In my last email, I threatened to call (ooohh) so the hiring manager came back within a few minutes and said the position had been filled and thanked me for my time.
I emailed back and said thank you and asked for a few minutes over the phone to get some feedback though I regretted it hadn't worked out.
So unprofessional, and a waste of my time.
