Interviewed Nov 2011 (took 2 days)
went to the Career open house. Although most people were casually dressed, I would say dress in Business attire
completed application form. I would recommend that you bring your reference data including names, addresses and phone numbers of references and employers
took skills test on computer. Plan for time to do this, about two hours
completed one-on-one interview with HR. The HR Representative was very pleasant and professional
called back for second interview. This was a two panel member phone interview done in the office with the panel on remote speaker phone. I would recommend Business dress and plan for a two hour block of time. The interviewers were Supervisors from the Sales floor. They were professional and social.
I was called back and job offered over the phone
I was required to give a urine specimen within 48 hours of the offer to test for drugs.
Interview Questions
Negotiation Details
There were no negotiations. The pay was misrepresented in the advertising on Careerbuilder as 35K and up. The pay during training is $10 per hour for a forty hour work week and a six week training period with an additional two week unpaid break in training period. Anything over $10 is based on sales. There is a monthly sales quota in addition to a quota in training. If you do not meet your quota, you are terminated. There are no benefits for the first three months. Most people do not make it out of training.
Other Details
I applied In-Person and the interview consisted of a Phone Interview, a 1:1 Interview, a Group/Panel Interview, a Skills Test, a Personality Test, a Drug Test and a Background Check.
