I applied through an employee referral and the process took 4 weeks - interviewed at International Rescue Committee in March 2012.
Interview Details – 3 separate phone interviews- a more general one with HR, a technical interview with a technical staff, and then a final interview with the direct supervisor. In the general HR interview, they reviewed the benefits and salary range right at the beginning, so be prepared to state a salary expectation. The technical interview is quite in-depth. Study beforehand any technical aspects to the position to prepare (for example, "What is the difference between monitoring and evaluation?" "What is advocacy and how would it related to this field?" "What are the technical steps to conducting an evaluation of a program?")
